Every client's case or scope of work and their needs are unique; therefore, we cannot determine service prices until we have gathered preliminary information and considered all relevant factors. We usually prefer value-based pricing to hourly fees. Taking time to agree on fees provides certainty and protects our working relationship.

We do not currently practice in areas where there is legal aid coverage. We are currently trying to get listed for the Independent Legal Advice Program for survivors of sexual assault.

We can sometimes take payment in instalments, but we do not take payment plans. We set aside several hours yearly to provide free legal work prioritizing queer and trans-racialized adults and youth.

We provide non-legal consulting services AND legal services. We focus on the needs of certain categories of clients and our continuous learning rather than a single area of law. The bulk of our clients are organizations, not-for-profit corporations, and institutions. We prioritize the needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ whenever we can.

Gitanjali Lena is bound by the Law Society of Ontario's Rules of Professional Conduct. We use an encrypted email with a VPN. No client information is shared on Google platforms. All of our accounts have two-factor authentication. Our team has all signed confidentiality agreements.
